Finally Salman Khan has a reason to smile!

Salman Khan has had a very bad 2008. His two big films God Tussi Great Ho and Yuvvraaj flopped miserably at the ticket window whereas; his special appearance starrers Heroes and Hello were just about moderate successes. But finally the handsome actor has got a reason to smile! His Rumi Jaffrey directed God Tussi Great Ho also starring Priyanka Chopra is a big hit in the home video circuit!The film was a poor show at the box office all throughout India when it released on August 15th alongside Yash Raj’s Ranbir Kapoor starrer, Bachna Ae Haseeno. It is now learnt that the film has very good DVD/VCD sales across the country since it was released by T-Series last month. Salman’s girlfriend Katrina Kaif’s Singh Is Kinng however leads on the Home Video market and the film is huge, probably one of the biggest success ever but it was expected from Singh Is Kinng as it was a huge hit and broke may records.

Bollywood star Salman Khan seems to be quite impressed with his colleague Akshay Kumar's growth as an actor over the years.
On being asked who has impressed him by his acting skills in the recent past, Salman said: "Akshay has impressed me by his acting skills in the recent past. I think he (Akshay) is the only actor who has really grown as an actor."
Salman was speaking to reporters on Monday at the promotional event of his forthcoming release Yuvvraaj, which also stars Anil Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Zayed Khan.

Katrina Kaif reveals Salman's weakness!
Salman Khan may look tough on the exterior but he has a weakness and Katrina Kaif knows well about it.

Considering the film belongs to Mandira Bedi, who plays the title role, why did he choose it as his launch pad? “My character isn’t sidelined. He’s her love interest, but she’s interested in cricket. I have no regrets as PNC is a great production house,” he explains.
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, his second film with PNC, is almost over. Then there’s Suneel Darshan’s Bhanvra in which Eijaz is a middle-class guy who has big aspirations. “There were intimate scenes, which were supposed to look bold, but not vulgar,” he says. Coming from a TV background, how did he pull off the steamy scenes? “I’m an actor and I should be okay with it, otherwise it looks forced,” he explains.

As it often happened in the past, Salman readily agreed to do cameos whenever he was approached by filmmakers to do so, be it Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Saawariya , or Farah Khan in Om Shanti Om or brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri in Hello .But Salman himself had a bitter experience with Shahrukh Khan when the latter refused to do a cameo in Sallu’s Main Aur Mrs Khanna , leading to a spat between the two stars.
